The main component of the project the composition - the generat (a channel).
Generat synthesizes reproduces sound. Generats in the project composition can be unlimited. Each generat has its own settings, unique sound that simulates every other instrument. F generats are programmed musical sce, written in the Piano Roll. The sces in FL Studio have infinite length. Pieces of sces (patterns) are added in sequence (located in the crect der in the playlist) in the Playlist. The sound of each generat can be processed by a set of plug-effects.
As the generat can be connected to any VST DXi plug-in.

Step Sequencer - enables you to quickly create and edit loops, adding new sound generats (channels) and delete unwanted ones;
Piano Roll - a two-dimensional grid, the vertical axis which postponed the level of the pitch, the hizontal - the time has me features than the step sequenser;
Playlist - allows you to place created in Step Sequenser Piano Roll loops, have the sound files;
Mixer - This is the place plug-ins and effects;
Sample Browser - easy access to audio files, plugins and settings.
